The food was delicious, especially the cooked English breakfast. The room felt dated with maintenance issues.

Oh, the iced coffee at The White Horse was a game changer! Perfectly chilled for those hot afternoons in the beer garden. Plus, that comfy bed was just what I needed after a long day! Kudos to the staff for making the evening so enjoyable.
Now, the access to my room felt a bit dodgy—up the metal fire escape in the car park! Not to mention the chilly draft. heating in both the bedroom and bathroom was off. And check-out at 8:30am? No one around, just me leaving the key on the bar like a rogue.

The location has its charm, perfect for a quick pit stop while traveling. Cozy atmosphere with inviting decor.
Rooms are stifling hot upon check-in, with radiators cranked up even during warm days. The Standard Double Room feels cramped, lacking seating and adequate space to move about. Bathroom doors can be unwittingly intrusive, and the flimsy bed on castor wheels slides around too easily. Decor is tired, with visible wear and tear like frayed carpets and chipped paint. A hassle to sort out check-in payments with front desk inconsistencies.

A simple breakdown of my experience
A peaceful location ensured a restful sleep. The exceptional food, including a cooked English breakfast and delightful dinner, was a highlight. Michael and the staff were incredibly helpful, making sure our stay met our needs. This dog-friendly establishment also catered well for our furry friend. Definitely a gem worth returning to!

We loved the location—perfect for exploring around Deddington. The breakfast was lush so many choices! But the room was a bit snug for our liking, could’ve done with a wee bit more space. Still, we’d definitely stay again!

Charming Deddington vibes 🌼
We had a lekker room, spacious and comfy bed. Those Rituals toiletries? Just wow! Mike was a total chommie, sorted us a cab sharp-sharp! The beer garden was the perfect spot for some chill sundowners, ag, beautiful atmosphere!
But the parking situation was a bit of a hassle, had to schlep our bags from the street.

Just a solid selection for a short interlude in Deddington with attractive and competitive value for money. The clean rooms were a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. If you're looking for basic but decent accommodation, this place checks the box.

The atmosphere was charming with flagstone floors and a cozy beer garden, perfect for a relaxing evening with a drink. The room was a decent size, well-equipped with coffee and tea options, though the cleanliness left much to be desired with visible cobwebs. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing—food was either overcooked or stale, and the service was slow. Despite the friendly staff, the dining experience felt overpriced for the quality offered.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, making sure our large breed dog felt like a part of the family. The food was delightful and well-timed. The peaceful spot was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the charming local area.
My wife says that the dining options could be more varied on weekdays.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for 1 night and the bed was super comfy, which was a huge plus. The bathroom had nice Rituals toiletries, and I loved having coffee and tea options. But the room overall felt a bit dated and could use some refreshment. The carpet was worn and the TV reception was poor, which was annoying. the pillows were really thin, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
